2012 was not only an amazing; it was a year of learning. I was able to live in Siem Reap Cambodia for a few months working with an organization to help stop human trafficking. Through this journey, I’ve met some of the most amazing friends that have made my journey seamless. This volunteer opportunity opened my eyes to what the real world was about. The real basic necessities of life wasn’t available, i.e. clean water, shelter, food, healthcare and the likes. Things that I have taken for granted.
I miss Cambodia so much but it’s definitely a place that I do not want to live in. I highly recommend Cambodia as a travel spot – it has some of the most amazing beaches, culture and temples. Life in pictures – my latter part of 2012.
Coming back to the states, I spent time with loved ones and finally packed my bags and moved back west. 6 years in NYC has made me a strong and independent individual that I truly believe nowhere else could’ve gave me such an invaluable experience. In the last part of 2012, I rekindled with old friends that I truly appreciate they’re still in my life after so many years. Cheers to old friends, new friends, peace, happiness, and a life of learning. 2012 was amazing but 2013 will be even better! =) This was my life in pictures (missing a ton of photos from Cambodia – will find it and upload soon).
Goodbye 2012 and HELLO 2013
